Vernon Willard Donald Ray Roberts of 36 Flat Hollow Rd., Stinnett, Ky.,was born on January 18, 1938 at Stinnett, KY., the son of late Burley Roberts & the late Goldie Smith Roberts he passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the age of 76 years, 6 months & 25 days. Donald Ray was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by occupation he was a retired coal miner. He was a devoted member of the Stinnett Gap Church of God at Stinnett, KY. He enjoyed being caretaker for his son, Tony & wife, Kathleen & gardening. Donald Ray Roberts was preceded in death by his parents: Burley & Goldie Smith Roberts, son: Tony Roberts, brothers: Earl, Henry, Homer & Ronald Roberts & sister: Nora "Doll" Collett He leaves the following relatives surviving: his loving & devoted wife: Kathleen Hoskins Roberts, Stinnett, KY., son: Randy Roberts & Bessie, Stinnett, KY., daughter: Sandra Morgan & James, Hanson, KY., brother: Clayburn Roberts & Zula, Cincinnati, Ohio, sisters: June Hoskins, Hyden, KY. & Geneva Garrett & James, Cincinnati, Ohio, grandchildren: Amanda Osborne & Greg, Cyndi Schwagel & Mike, Randy Roberts & Nikki & Dusty Morgan, great-grandchildren: Taylor Paige, Katie, Tessa, Colin & Aden & special sister-in-laws: Gewandene Collett & Wilma Hoskins. Also a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive.
