The Obituary for Ray Hacker Officiating Ministers: Rev. James Bowling, Jr. Ray Hacker of 1060 Knob Lick Rd. Stinnett, Ky., was born on November 1, 1922 in Leslie Co., Ky. the son of the late Frank Hacker & Rutha Mosley Hacker. He passed away at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, Ky. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the age of 91 years, 8 months & 15 days. Ray was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. with the exception of living in Ohio for 21 years. By occupation, he was a carpenter and employed by Ritter Lumber. He was a member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed gardening & spending time with his family. Ray Hacker was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Rutha Mosley Hacker, his loving & devoted wife, Francis Smith Hacker, daughter, Ruby Gail Hacker, grandchildren, Michelle Hacker, Donna Hacker Jones, Jamie Roberts & James Hacker & a host of brothers & sisters. He leaves the following relatives surviving: sons, Paul Hacker of Ohio, Bill Hacker & Louise of Stinnett, Ky., Merle Hacker & Margaret of Hyden, KY. & Larry Wayne Hacker of Stinnett, KY., daughter, JoAnne Roberts of Essie, Ky., Daughter-in-law & mother of Paul's children, Nancy Hacker, grandchildren, Cody, Paul Jr., Scott, Patty, Lisa, Michael, Tammy & Candy Jo, 16 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. FUNERAL: Saturday, July 19, 2014 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Essie, KY. MINISTER: Rev. James Bowling, Jr. INTERMENT: Frank & Rutha Hacker Cemetery at Stinnett, KY. PALLBEARERS: Michael Roberts, Scott Hacker, Andrew Hacker, Merle Wayne Hacker, Dylan Hacker, Cody Hacker & Paul Von Hacker.
