Arnold Douglas Harris ,55, was born October 31, 1958 and departed this life on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born at Hazard, Ky., the son of K.D. Harris & the late Wilma Maggard Harris. Doug was a retired coal miner & was affiliated with the Big Fork Church of God, Yeaddiss,Ky. He was an avid hunter, fisherman & enjoyed gardening. Doug was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., residing at Big Rock Road, Yeaddiss, Ky at the time of his death. Mr. Arnold Douglas Harris was preceded in death by his loving and devoted mother: Wilma Maggard Harris, his first wife and mother of children: Debbie Harris, maternal grandparents: Arnold and Suda Maggard & his paternal grandparents: I.D. & Polly Jane Harris. Mr. Arnold Douglas Harris leaves the following relatives surviving: caring & loving wife: Tammy Fowler of Yeaddiss, Ky., his loving and devoted father: K.D. Harris of Yeaddiss, Ky., his beloved daughters: Misty Lewis and husband, Joey of Yeaddiss, Ky., Christy Fields & Mickey of Yeaddiss, Ky., beloved son: Kristopher Harris of Yeaddiss, Ky., step-sons: Matthew Burnette of Georgia, Jacob Fowler of Texas, Dustin Fowler of Harrogate, TN., sister-in-law: Janie Parker of Texas, grandchildren: Dustin Fields, Matthew Lewis, Nathan Lewis, Abigail Fields, Noah Lewis & a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
