Phyllis Madden

Mrs. Phyllis Madden, 58 passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. She was born on November 6, 1955 at Hyden, KY the daughter of Zola Farmer Begley and the late Bige Begley. By occupation Phyllis was a clerk having worked at BP Food Mart and Save-A-Lot Grocery Store. Phylliss loved animals, walking, flower gardening, fishing but most importantly being with her grandchildren. She was affiliated with the Mozelle Pentecostal church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Phylliss was preceded in death by her father Bige Begley and her husband: Roger Madden. She leaves surviving the following relatives: her mother: Zola Farmer Begley of Stinnett, KY, one son: James Begley & Christy of Stinnett, KY, one brother: Butch Begley & Beulah of Stinnett, KY, two sisters: Debbie Morgan and Carolyn Sizemore both of Stinnett, KY, two grandchildren: James Begley Jr. and Chelsey Begley, four nephews: Christopher Sizemore, Triston Begley, Joey Begley , Matthew Morgan , one niece: April Begley, one great niece and nephew: Summer and Hunter Sizemore. Phylliss is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The following will serve as pallbearers: Christopher Sizemore, Triston Begley, Joey Begley, Matthew Morgan, James Begley and Jr. Begley.
