Lloyd Griffith

Mr. Lloyd Griffith, age 85, of Hyden, KY passed away on Sunday-May 18, 2014 at Mary Breckenridge ARH Hospital. He was born on June 21, 1929 at Cinda, KY, the son of the late Arch Griffith and the late Eliza Jane North Griffith. By occupation Lloyd was a retired coal Miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. He enjoyed gardening, walking, and spending time with his family. Mr. Lloyd Griffith was a member of the World Wide Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arch and Eliza Griffith, six brothers: Millard, Jim, Al, Ray, Mathias and Elbert and one sister: Fannie. Lloyd leaves surviving the following relatives: Loving and devoted wife: Janice Adams Griffith of Wooton, KY, two sons: Larry Griffith of Wooton, Ky, Dwayne Griffith & Patsy of Garfield, AR, two daughters: Glenna Wooten & Rufus of Bulan, KY, Rita Brooksher & Steve of Winder, GA., nine grandchildren: Michelle, Michael, David, Jennifer, Eric, Monica, Tami, Brian, Kristina, 5 great grandchildren: Whitney, Dylan, Cassidy, Jacob and Bianca. Mr. Lloyd Griffith is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The following will serve as pallbearers: Mark Griffith, Eric Griffith, Brian Klein, Michael Wooton, Josh Griffith, Alan Burgess, Vernon Carr and Seth Cobb.
