Patrick Woods

Mr. Patrick Woods age 78 passed away on May 3, 2014 at his residence in Collinsville, IL. He was born on Dec. 15, 1935 at Kaliopi, KY the son of the late John Woods and the late Mary Woods. By occupation he was self-employed as a Drywall installer in the construction industry. Mr. Patrick Woods had served as a Paratrooper in the United States Army. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed boxing as a hobbies. but he was the ultimate family man and had been a resident of Collinsville, Illinois since 1968. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents: John and Mary Woods, wife: Janet, three sisters: Ethel Hamilton, Thelma Seta, Anna Mae Hockman and one brother: Oscar Woods. He leaves surviving the following relatives: one son: Steve Woods of Cincinnati, OH, two daughters: Lisa Marshall of Collinsville, IL, Earline Woods of St. Louis, MO, one brother: Wade Woods of New York, two sisters: Brenda Pfaff and Lucy Jones both of Manchester, KY. Patrick is also survived by a host of grandchildren and other treasured relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday- May 17, 2014, at the Woods Family Cemetery located at Kaliopi, KY. with full military rites will be held. The following will serve as pallbearers: Victor Pfaff, Lonnie Hensley, Steve Woods, Heather Hensley and Terry Jones.
