Mr. Kenneth Turner passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the St Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY. He was born on August 27, 1957 in Perry County, KY the son of the late Wilbert "Bill" Turner and the late Lillie Huff Turner. By occupation he was an ordained minister of the Church of God Cleveland, TN for the past 33 years. Bishop Ken Turner enjoyed working with computers as a hobby. His passion was his life-long work for God and service in working for the church. Bishop Ken Turner was the pastor of seven different churches in a very devoted and distinguished career of service for the Lord. Ken was preceded in death by his parents: Wilbert and Lillie Turner, brother: Joe Bill Turner, sisters: Ruth Turner Brock and Debra Ann. Ken was a loving and devoted husband to his wife: Virginia Winchester Turner of Jamestown, KY, he also leaves the following relatives surviving: brothers: Rev. Ned Turner of Mozelle, KY, Johnnie Turner of Richmond, VA, sisters: Magdalene Whicker of North Vernon, IN, Nora Fugate & Hiram of Hazard, KY, Martha Caudill & Kirby of Pikeville, KY, Pauline Jenkins & Raymond of Louisville, KY. Ken is also survived by 6 sister-in-laws, 3 brother-in-laws, and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. The following will serve as pallbearers: James Wilbert Turner, Ned Turner, Jr., Douglas Turner, Vernon Brock, Jr., Tim Turner, Billy Gene Whicker, Kevin Caudill, Ryan Whicker, Bryan Whicker, Scott Begley, Willie Begley, Eric Turner, Chase Froedge, Adam Turner, Caleb Caudill, Thomas Turner, Dustin Deaton and James Wilbert "Buzz" Turner.
