Fritz Mosley

Mr. Fritz Mosley, 87 passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. He was born on October 19, 1926 at Mozelle, KY the son of the late Shelby Mosley and the late Rhoda Baker Mosley. By occupation he was a retired self-employed carpenter. Fritz was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and was a devoted family man. Mr. Fritz Mosley was a charter member of the Lower Beechfork United Methodist Church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Fritz was preceded in death by his parents: Shelby & Rhoda Mosley, wife: Irma Jeannette Mosley, one son: Charles Shelby Mosley, sisters: Laura Howard, Dorothy Lewis, Rebecca Carter, brothers: Troy Mosley, Grant Mosley and Dan Mosley. He leaves surviving the following relatives: two sons: Richard Mosley & Betty of Mozelle, KY and Matthew Mosley also of Mozelle, KY, one sister: Margaret Simpson of Eaton, OH, five grandchildren: Heather Parker, Jacob Shelby Mosley, Colleen Harris, Brandon Mosley and Amanda Mosley. The following will serve as pallbearers:Matthew Mosley, Richard Mosley, Jacob Mosley, Eugene Howard, Billy Simpson, Jimmy Lewis, Randy Simpson and Trip Sizemore. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m.- Sunday - May 11, 2014 at the Lower Beechfork United Methodist Church at Mozelle, KY. OFFICIATING MINISTER: Rev. Dan Griffiths PLACE OF INTERMENT: Mosley Cemetery at Mozelle, KY.
