Mary Alice Howard

Mrs. Mary Alice Howard was born on October 3, 1920 at Breathitt Co., KY. the daughter of the late Robert Turner & Martha Mcintosh Turner. She passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Lifecare Center in Morristown, Tenn. at the age of 93 years, 7 months & 2 days. She had been a resident of Morristown, TN. for the past 8 years coming from Leslie Co., KY. She was a homemaker & seamstress & was a member of the Morristown Church of Christ, Morristown, TN. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing & quilting as her hobbies. Mary Alice Howard was preceded in death by her parents: Robert & Martha McIntosh Turner, her husband: Joe Howard, Jr,, son: Frank Howard, brothers: Cecil, Tommy, Walter Eugene & Clayton Turner & sisters: Callie Cleamons & Ida Spurlock. She leaves the following relatives surviving: son: Coy Lee Howard & Vickie of Morristown, TN., daughters: Clara Ball & Robert of Arlington, TX & Janice Pieper & Jerry of Morristown, TN, brother: Earnest Turner of Waukegan, ILL. & sister: Susan Jackson of White Marsh, VA. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great & 9 great-great grandchildren with 2 yet to be born. Mary Alice is also survived by a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousin and other relatives and friends.
