The Obituary for Mrs. Beatrice Lewis Officiating Ministers: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis & Rev. Don Kilburn Mrs. Beatrice Lewis 89, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. She was born on May 14, 1924 the daughter of the late Wilson Beaver Lewis and the late Hetty Joseph Lewis. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Beatrice Lewis was a devoted Member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed gardening, reading her bible, sewing, canning, and especially spending time with her family. Mrs. Beatrice Lewis was preceded in death by her parents: Wilson and Hetty, her loving and devoted husband: Henry Lewis, 1 son: David Lewis and by 15 brothers and sisters. She leaves surviving the following relatives: 1 son: Daniel Lewis & Patricia of Yeaddiss, KY, 2 daughters: Dorothy Lewis of Stanford, KY, Delphia Stidham & Ronnie of Hyden, KY, 8 grandchildren: Felicia Ann Sheffstall, Kenneth E. Schlueter, Daniel W. Lewis, Christopher H. Lewis, Reginald C. Stidham, Candice T. Curtis, Kris Lewis and Erica L. Spoonamore & 12 great grandchildren. Beatrice is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
