John Asher Mr. David Muncy of 4351 Dryhill Rd., Hyden, Ky., was born on March 18, 1947 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late Harry Muncy & Mae Woods Muncy, he passed away at his residence on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the age of 66 years, 11 months & 17 days. David had been a lifelong resident of Leslie Co. with the exception of living eight years in Dayton Ohio. By occupation He was a retired coal preparation foreman for Shamrock Coal Co. He was affiliated with both the Anna C. Brush Memorial United Presbyterian Church at Dryhill & the Hyden Church of God at Hyden. He was a member of the Hyden Masonic Lodge #664 & Shriners. David enjoyed spending time with his children & grandchildren & 4-wheeling. David was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Bonnie Lou & brother, Harold. He leaves the following relatives surviving: Loved & Devoted wife, Judith "Judy" Lykins Muncy, Hyden, KY., 2 sons, David Michael Muncy & partner, Neal Fannin, Richmond, KY. & Todd Muncy & Tina, Manchester, KY., 1 brother, Martin Muncy & Effie, Hyden, KY., sister, Mary Ann Rice & Miller, Hyden, KY., 3 grandchildren, Lani Rae Muncy, Jaimie Ann Grace Muncy & Andrew Lee Muncy, sister-in-law, Jean Asher Muncy, Hyden, KY., double first cousin, Edgar Muncy & Karen, Southport, N.C.
