Eveline Pertee

Eveline Pertee, age 55, of Roderfield, passed away Sunday , March 2, 2014, at Welch Community Hospital. Born March 9, 1958, in Hazard, KY, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Essie Coots Collins. Eveline loved to hunt and fish; she was the West Virginia female state record holder for white tail buck deer with a bow; which scored 163 5/8. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one daughter Lisa Darlene Feltner; two brothers, Earl and Jimmy Lee Collins; one sister, Jerlene Melton; and one stepdaughter Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Elliot. Survivors include her husband John Sebert Pertee of Roderfield, three stepsons; John Richard and wife Mary Ann Pertee of Oakvale, WV; Charles "Chuck" Pertee and wife Melanie of Virginia Beach, VA, and Josh Pertee of Viginia Beach, VA; one stepdaughter, Sherry and husband John Fraiser of McKenney, VA; three sisters, Lorene and husband Odell Coots of Yeaddiss, KY; Pauline and husband Wilmer Mitchell of Camden, OH, and Irene Melton of Wooton, KY; one brother-in-law Larry Melton of Wooton, KY, one sister-in-law Edna Faye Collins of Yeaddiss, KY and several nieces and nephews.
