Reba Lewis Baker, 74 of Preachersville, Kentucky formerly of Hyden passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville. She was the wife of Vernon Baker whom she married on October 27, 1961. Reba was born in the community of Cutshin in Leslie County, Kentucky to the late Willard and Polly Lewis. With her husband, Vernon, she was the owner and operator of The Leslie County News, Thousandsticks News and Community Market located in Wooten, Kentucky. She was a former secretary for the Leslie County Board of Education, a member of the Cutshin Bible Church.
