Vickie S Bowman

Mrs. Vickie S. Bowman passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. She was born on January 3, 1950 the daughter of the late Carrie Crawford Sizemore and the late Elbert Sizemore. By occupation Vickie was an License Practical Nurse, and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Vickie enjoyed watching football, basketball and always helping people, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Vickie Sizemore Bowman was a member of the Bear Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Elbert and Carrie Sizemore, two brothers: Carlo and J.B., one grandson: Randall Jordon Melton, two nephews: John David Sizemore and Michael Wayne Sizemore. Vickie leaves surviving the following relatives: Husband: Junior L. Bowman of Bear Branch, KY, five sons: Scott Flower & Maggie of Franklin, OH, Perry Bowman & Peggy of Crossville, TN, Tommy Bowman & Lois of Crossville, TN, Eric Bowling and Jason Bowling both of Red Bird, KY, two daughters: Karri Melton & Randy of Wooton, KY, Rachel Bowling of Russell, County, three brothers: Elbert Sizemore, Jr. & Christine of London, KY, Boyd Sizemore & Patsy of London, KY, Cecil Wayne Sizemore & Vickie of Houston, TX, two sisters: Judy Melton Couch of Somerset, KY, Belinda D. Sizemore of Paducah, KY, seven grandchildren: Kourtney, Andrea, Dakota, Jakota, Jacob, Kenzie and Blake. Vickie is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
