John Hayes Hamrick

John Hayes Hamrick 62 of Hyden, KY., passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Hyden, KY on May 20, 1951, the son of the late Len R. Hamrick and the late Dora Griffith Hamrick. By occupation he was a surface coal miner. John Hayes was affiliated with the Church of God and had been a lifelong resident of Leslie County. He enjoyed ginsinging, 4 wheeling, fishing and playing billiards as hobbies. John was preceded in death by his parents: Dora & Len Hamrick, brother: Edmond Jones, sister: Mary Louise Hamrick. He leaves surviving the following relatives: mother of his children: Judy Carol Hoskins Hamrick of Hyden, KY, two sons: Terry Allen Hamrick of Hyden, KY, John Justin Hamrick & Pamela of Hyden, KY, two daughters: Kimberly Hamrick Dotson & Rick of Abington, VA, Dora Denise Hamrick Bowling of Hyden, KY, two brothers: Len Richard Hamrick & Leona of Hyden, KY, Floyd E. Jones & Betty of Tipp City, OH, two sisters: Bonnie Jean Morgan & Johnny Jr. of Stinnett, KY, Belvia Roberts of Stinnett, KY, two grandchildren: Kendra LaShay Bowling and Madison Kayley Morgan. John Hayes is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
