Wilburn Glen Pennington

Mr. Wilburn G. Pennington, 80 of Corbin, KY., (formerly of Leslie Co.) was born on April 22, 1933. He passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Baptist Healthcare in Corbin, KY. Mr. Pennington was the son of the late Earl Pennington and Ruth Ballue Pennington. He is a Army Veteran of the Korean War. Wilburn later retired as a Coal Miner. He was also affiliated with the Church of God. As Hobbies Wilburn enjoyed Walking, Fishing, Metal Detecting, spending time out in the mountains and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Pennington is preceded in death by his Parents: Earl and Ruth Ballew Pennington. Wife: Ruth Vanover Pennington. One Son: Larry "Buck" Pennington. Sisters: Shirley Pennington and Loretta and Brother: Paul Pennington. Wilburn Pennington leaves behind the following relatives his son: Wilburn Pennington Jr. & Jean Anne of Hyden, KY.
