Brasley Lee Lewis

Mr. Brasley Lee Lewis, age 32, passed away on Thursday- January 30, 2014 at the U.Of K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky the son of Brasley Lewis and Linda Couch Coots. By occupation he was a coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Brasley enjoyed fishing as a hobby. Mr. Brasley Lee Lewis leaves surviving the following relatives: Father & Step Mother: Brasley Lewis & Diana Lewis; mother & Step Father: Linda Couch Coots & Kendall; wife: Joanna Begley Lewis of Busy, KY; one son: Brasley Alexander Lewis; one daughter: Ashley Makala Lewis; one brother: Toy Wayne Coots,; two sisters: Betty Couch and Crystal Baker. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other treasured relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Slemp Church of God at Slemp, KY. Officiating minister will be Rev. Eugene Baker.
