Derek McCall Mrs. Laura Hoskins, age 91, of 1100 Cutshin Rd, Wooton, KY passed away on Thursday- January 30, 2014 at the St. Joseph London Hospital. She was born in Leslie County, KY the daughter of the late James Howard and the late Ollie Stidham Howard. By occupation Laura was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Laura enjoyed sewing, gardening, flower gardening and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was affiliated with the Smith Camp Pentecostal Church at Wooton, KY. Mrs. Laura Hoskins was preceded in death by her parents: James and Ollie Howard, Husband: Willie, son: Stanley, sisters: Mollie Chappell, Lula Wells, brothers: James Howard, Jr. and Arthur Howard. She leaves surviving the following relatives, son: Arthur Richardson & Phylliss of Fleming Neon, KY, daughter: Alice Wells & Robert of Wooton, KY, brothers: Ed Howard & Zelpha of Hyden, KY, Marcus Howard & Opal of Brandenburg, KY, special nephew: Roger Wells & Carolyn of Hazard, KY. Laura is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
