She passed away on October 14, 2010 in Spartanburg, South Carolina at the age of 72 years, 7 months & 2 days. Ollie Mae had been a resident of South Carolina for the past 20 years. Ollie Mae Melton was preceded in death by her parents & one sister: Ardothie Wilcox. She leaves the following relatives surviving: one brother: Ben Melton & wife, Izena of Wooton, KY., a special cousin whom she called her brother: Curt Melton of Wooton, KY. & a special aunt: Rebecca Melton of Wooton, KY. also a host of beloved friends survive. Funeral service for Ollie Mae Melton will be conducted on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Melton Family Cemetery (Ben Riley Curve), Wooton, KY. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M.
