The obituary of Verndene Huff Officiating Ministers: Rev. Ray Wilson, Rev. Clifton Adams, & Rev. Ralph Brown Verndene Sizemore Huff born April 7, 1950 departed this life on October 9, 2008 at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 2 days old. She was born at Hoskinston, Kentucky the daughter of the late Felix Sizemore and the late Delta Smith. By occupation she was a nurses aid and had been employed by the Mary Breckinridge Hospital. Verndene was affiliated with the Holiness church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. She enjoyed painting art, sewing and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents: Felix and Delta Sizemore. She leaves surviving the following relatives: one son: Arnold Ray Fee & Terri of Rockhouse, KY; Daughters: Martha Devone Shepherd & Clem of Yeaddiss, KY, Delta Marie King & Walter William of Middletown, OH, Freda Lynn Banks & Anthony of Yeaddiss, KY Sister: Edna Pennington & Danny of Manchester, KY; ten grandchildren: Verna Dene, Michael, Arnold, Devon, Jonah, Christopher, Kayla, Tiffany, Sierra and Tosha; two great grandchildren Anna Jolene and Anastasie Marie. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Verndene Huff will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday - October 13, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel at Hyden, KY. with Rev. Ray Wilson, Rev. Clifton Adams< & Rev. Ralph Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Stinnett, Kentucky under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. The following will serve as pallbearers: Jonah Fee, Michael Collett, Devon Coots, Christopher Jones, Rodney Dodson, Paul Baker, Bill King and Arnold Coots.
