The obituary of Edith Hubbard Officiating Ministers: Rev. Eugene Roberts, Rev. Curtis Sizemore, Rev. Sue Hubbard Edith Hubbard born January 30, 1938 departed this life on January 10, 2009 at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 10 days old. She was born at Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late Carlo Hubbard and the late Mae Napier Hubbard. By occupation she was a former G.M. Employee and a homemaker. Edith was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church and had been a former resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and doll collecting as hobbies. Edith was preceded in death by her parents: Carlo & Mae Hubbard; one son: Russell Fields; one brother: John Hubbard; three sisters: Ollie Ballard, Martha Witek, and Iona Bradley. Edith leaves surviving the following relatives: four daughters: Delilah Stead & Ron of Ortonville, MI, Tammera Sizemore & Jeff of Lily, KY, Beverly Fields of London, KY, Sandra Fields of London, KY; two brothers: Joe Hubbard & Joyce of London, KY, Jr. Hubbard & Kathy of Michigan, three sisters: Elitha Hubbard of Michigan, Dorothy Smith of Washington, Leona Brock & Ronnie of Michigan; ten grandchildren: Stoney, Tracy, Brian, Courtney, Amber, Brandon, Curtis, Ryan, Katisha and Donathan. Edith is also survived by eight great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Edith Hubbard will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday - January 14, 2009 at the Lower Middlfork Pentecostal Church at Asher, Kentucky with Rev. Eugene Roberts, Rev. Curtis Sizemore and Rev. Sue Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hubbard & Fields Family Cemetery located at Asher (Bad Creek), Kentucky under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. The following will serve as pallbearers: Marty Sandlin, Robbie Witek, Shannon Asher, Brandon Fields and Brian Burger. Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Monday - January 12, 2009 at the church and continue all day Tuesday at the church up until time of funeral on Wednesday.You may send your condolences at www.walkerfuneralhomesllc.com
