She was the Daughter of the late Roscoe & the late Orgie Shell Nantz. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Leslie Co. and was a homemaker. She was a Member of the Freedom Worship Church at Harlan, Ky. She enjoyed gardening & spending time with her grandchildren. Dorothy A. Nantz was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Roscoe & Orgie Shell Nantz; Husband: Silas Nantz; Son: Jerry Stines; Daughter: Janice Faye Nantz; Son-In-Law: Ronald Munch; and a host of brothers & sisters. She leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Glenn Nantz & Phyllis of Helton, KY.; Daughter: Elva Munch of Mozelle, KY.; Sister: Dovie Wells; Grandchildren: Deborah Driver, Anthony Munch, David Nantz, Melaney Nantz, Shanda Hall; Great Grandchildren: Kristen Munch, Kaitlyn Munch, Kameron Hall, Kayleigh Hall, Amber Munch, Jade Munch, Megan Hall, Chandra Hall; Great-Great Grandchildren: Adrienne Spikerman & Kylon Hall. Also a host of other treasured relatives & friends survive. Funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy A. Nantz will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Sunday - March 3, 2013 at at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home ~ Hyden, KY. with Rev. Ronnie Williams officiating. The interment will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery at (Sims Branch)~ Helton, KY. The visitation will begin 11:00 A.M. - Sunday until time of funeral at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel.
