The Obituary of Mr. James Darrell Asher Officiating Minister: Rev. John Asher Mr. James Darrell "Goat" Asher was born on August 28, 1954 & departed this life on July 12, 2012 at the age of 57 years. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky the Son of the late Melvin Stewart and the late Bessie Asher. By occupation he was a welder and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. James enjoyed 4 wheeling, gardening and his pet dog, Pedro. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Melvin and Bessie; Son: Jason Darrell Asher; Sister: Dena Brock. James Darrell leaves the following relatives surviving: Daughter: Angela "Angie" Stewart of Speedwell, TN.; Brothers: David Jean Asher & Verna of Hyden, KY. and Larry Asher & Benita of Hyden, KY.; Sister: Judy Clark & Kenneth of Lexington, KY.; Grandson: Mason James; Special Nephew: James Ed Asher. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. James Darrell Asher will be conducted on Sunday July 15, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Rev. John Asher officiating. Burial will follow in the Asher-Jones Cemetery at Dryhill, Kentucky. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Mason James Sons, Brendon Asher, Tyler Caldwell, Mark Roberts, Arvil Sizemore, Dwight Muncy, Austin Sizemore, Tyler Strong & James Asher.
