The obituary of Mr. William "Bud" Horne, Officiating Minister: William Craig Melton Mr. William "Bud" Horne born February 27, 1925 departed this life on December 6, 2008 at the Kentucky River Medical Center, Jackson, Ky.He was 83 years, 9 months, and 11 days old. Mr. Horne was born at Viper, Ky., the son of the late Marion Horne & Cordelia Begley. William was a veteran of World War II having served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired stock chaser for Delco Products in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. William "Bud" Horne was affiliated with the Camp Creek Church of Christ, Wendover, Ky., & enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. He was a resident of Dayton, Ohio for 51 years, & had been a resident of Duckrack Hollow Rd., Hyden, Ky. since May 2008. Mr. William "Bud" Horne was preceded in death by his wife: Eva Mae Waters Horne on May 09, 2007. Mr. William "Bud" Horne leaves the following relatives surviving: one son: Philip Horne of Hyden, Ky., one daughter: Tonia Raye Molla and husband, Paul, of New Carlisle, Ohio, two grandchildren: Tony Molla, Cody Molla, four great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Lillyanna, Lydia, James, and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mr. William "Bud" Horne will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. - Wednesday- December 10, 2008 at the Camp Creek Church of Christ, Wendover, Ky., with William Craig Melton officiating. Friends may call for visitation from 12:00 noon until time for the funeral at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Camp Creek Church of Christ. The interment will follow with full military rites performed by the Leslie Co. D.A. V.
