The Obituary of April L. Sizemore Officiating Ministers: Rev. Jerry Holland, Rev. Jerry McKinley Holland, Rev. Randy Woods, Rev. Willie Napier and Rev. John Whitehead April L. Sizemore was born on August 22, 1985 in Hyden, KY. and passed away on January 22, 2013 at her residence at 1387 Upper Bull Creek Rd. ~ Thousandsticks, KY. She was 27 years of age at the time of her passing. April was the Daughter of Eunice Griffitts Sizemore and Arthur Wayne Sizemore and Step-Mother Betty. April had obtained her Associate Degree at Hazard Community College. By occupation April was a former employee of Sykes, and had also worked at M.B.H. and Dollar General Store. She enjoyed arts and crafts, was an avid reader, and loved music and animals. Most importantly, April enjoyed spending time with her family. April was a member of the Parkway Holiness Church and had been a lifelong resident of Leslie County. She was Preceded in Death by: her Paternal Grandfather: Caleb Sizemore; Maternal Grandparents: Curly and Mavie Griffitts; Aunt: Carolyn Ruth; Uncle: Melborne. April leaves surviving the following relatives: Mother; Eunice Griffitts Sizemore of Hyden, KY.; Father & Step-Mother; Arthur Wayne Sizemore & Betty of Thousandsticks, KY.; Loving & Devoted Grandmother: Gracie Sizemore of Thousandsticks, KY.; Brother: Joshua Sizemore of Thousandsticks, KY.; Special Aunt: Ashley Sizemore Napier & Husband Brent of Hyden, KY.; Grandparents: Ronnie & Vanda Turner; Also survived by a host of treasured aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for April L. Sizemore will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday - January 26, 2013 at the Parkway Holiness Church in Thousandsticks, KY. with Rev. Jerry Holland, Rev. Jerry McKinley Holland, Rev. Randy Woods, Rev. Willie Napier and Rev. John Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in the Jack Napier Cemetery at Thousandsticks, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Timmy Sizemore, Wendell Sizemore, Dustin Sizemore, Brent Napier, Ronnie Turner, Ronnie Allen Turner, Larry Wayne Turner.
