The obituary of Mrs. Patsy Witt Washburn Mrs. Patsy W. Washburn born August 26, 1945 departed this life on July 28, 2009 at the age 0f 63 years. She was born at Wooton, Kentucky the daughter of the late Charles Witt and the late Ethel Taylor Witt. By occupation she was self-employed Co-Owner of the Blue Diamond Exterminating Company. Patsy was a avid antiques collector and she enjoyed trivia game shows. But most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Patsy was a life-long resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in Chicago, IL for a short time. She was affiliated with the Baptist church. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Ethel Witt; one sister: Betty England; one brother: James Barton Witt. She leaves surviving the following relatives: husband: Paul Washburn of Hyden, KY; two sons: Lawrence Washburn & Fiance Melody Hacker of Hyden, KY, Patrick Washburn of Hyden, Ky; one daughter: Paula Washburn of Hyden, KY; two brothers: Claude Richard Witt of Thousandsticks, KY, Tommy Lee Witt of Georgia; one sister: Linda Landrum of Knott County, Ky; four grandchildren: Allyson, Lawrene McKenzie, Natalie Alexander, Taylor Jane; three special grandchildren: Kelsey Ann, Morgan and Allen. Patsy is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. A private funeral service will be held for Patsy Witt Washburn by request of her family.
