The obituary of Mr. Carl Boggs Officiating Ministers: Rev. Don Kilburn and Kevin Lewis Mr. Carl Boggs born October 19, 1954 departed this life on June 14, 2010 at the age of 55 years. He was born at Leslie County, Kentucky the son of the late Nick Boggs and the late Mattie Pennington Boggs. By occupation Carl was a retired Coal Miner and was owner and operator of Boggs Tires in Wooton, KY. He was affiliated with the Baker Fork Church of Christ at Yeaddiss, KY, and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. Carl enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing and mechanic work. He was preceded in death by his parents: Nick and Mattie Boggs, three brothers: Ben, Forester and Johnny. He leaves surviving the following relatives: his loving wife: Sandra Lewis Boggs of Wooton, KY, one son: Brian Boggs & (Edith) of Wooton, KY, one daughter: Abigail Boggs & (Tyler) of Wooton, KY, one brother: James Boggs & (Joyce) of Yeaddiss, KY, six sisters: Shirley Lewis & (Hurlin) of Yeaddiss, KY, Lelia Caldwell & (Boone) of Yeaddiss, KY, Beulah Caldwell & (Dale) of Yeaddiss, Ky, Irene Boggs of Yeaddiss, KY, Gaylene Baker & (Clayton) of Yeaddiss, KY and Donna Farler of Yeaddiss, KY, three grandchildren: Autumn Pennington, Steven Stollings and Emily Stollings. Carl is also survived by a host of treasured nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Carl Boggs will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday- June 17, 2010 at the Big Fork Church of God at Yeaddiss, KY with Rev. Don Kilburn and Kevin Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Fork Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. Friends may call for visitation from 5p.m.-10p.m. Wednesday- June 16, 2010 at the church.
