She had been a life-long residence of Leslie Co. with the exception of living in Ohio for one year. By occupation Elaine was a former Day Care Director. She was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ at Hoskinston, Ky., a former cheerleading sponsor for Stinnett Elementary & Leslie Co. High School & football boosters. She was a supporter of the Arthritis Foundation. Elaine loved being involved in the lives of her children. Martha Elaine Begley Roberts was preceded in death by her father: Lawrence"Peanut" Begley. She leaves the following relatives surviving: her mother: Isabelle Noble of Germantown, Ohio, her husband: Larry Richard "Rick" Roberts of Stinnett, Ky., 1 son: Ernest Richard Roberts & fiance, Kimberly Suzanne Roberts of Hyden, Ky., 1 daughter: Whitney Michelle Roberts of Stinnett, Ky., father-in-law & mother-in-law: Ernest & Bernice Farmer Roberts of Stinnett, Ky., 2 brothers: Lawrence Begley, Jr. & Debbie of Burnside,Ky. & Bobby Ray Begley of Georgia, 2 sisters: Janice Pratt & Robert of Thousandsticks, Ky. & Jennifer Durham of Germantown, Ohio, 6 nephews: Alex Durham, Chad Begley, James Bowling, Tommy Bailey & Robert A. Collett & Justin Begley, 1 niece: Stephanie Seagraves. Funeral service for Martha Elaine Roberts was conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky., on Saturday, May 16, 2009 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Church of Christ at Hoskinston, KY., with Keith Bowling officiating. Burial followed in the Bowens Creek Cemetery at Essie, Ky. the following served as pallbearers: Chad Begley, Tommy Bailey, James Bowling, Bob Pratt, Robert A. Collett, Bob Collett & Donovan Roberts, honorary pallbearers: Felix Feltner, John Seagraves & Gran Noble.
