The obituary for Isaac (Ike) L. Thompson Officiating Minister: Brother Matthew Perry Isaac (Ike) L. Thompson age 69, died Friday July 10, 2008. He was born November 13, 1938 in Athens, Ky. to the late Clell and Allie Mae Williams Thompson. He was a member of the Boones Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife 27 years, Robin Elaine Lewis Thompson, three daughters: Vicki Guinn and husband,Johnny, Tammy Hendrickson and husband, Lou, and Cindy Young and husband, Jim; one brother, Bobby Thompson; three grandchildren, Shelly Cobb, Kristin Young and Austin Young; mother-in-law, Ada Lewis, nine sister-in-laws, Lillian Ruth Gross and husband, Johnny, Mallie Horne and husband, Johnnie, Mary Quist and husband, Rick, Phyllis Osborne and husband, Bob, Effie McKeehan and husband, Merle, Linda Brown and husband, Gary, Barbara Lewis, Dianne Day and husband, Danny, and Debbie White and husband, Joe, three brother-in-laws: James Lewis and wife, Betty, Cecil Lewis, Jr., and Dwight Lewis and wife, Peggy. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Thompson, one sister, Lucy Townsen, and one grandson, Michael Cole Hendrickson. Funeral services for Mr. Isaac (Ike) L. Thompson will be conducted 1:00 p.m. - Sunday - July 13, 2008 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Main Street location, Lexington, Ky., with Brother Matthew Perry officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M.- 7:00 p.m. - Saturday - July 12, 2008 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. The interment will follow Sunday in the Larkin Lewis Cemetery, Smilax, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home staff.
