The Obituary for Henry Clay Wilson Officiating Minister: Rev. Dan Griffiths Henry Clay Wilson was born on December 27, 1927 in Hyden, Ky., the son of the late Peter & Rosa Wilson. He passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Eastern Ky. Veterans Center in Hazard, KY. at the age of 83 years, 7 months & 21 days. Henry Clay was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. By occupation he was a construction engineer & inspector for road-transportation. Henry Clay was affliated with the BeechFork United Methodist Church at Helton, KY. He enjoyed watching western movies & traveling. Henry Clay Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Jeffrey Wilson, wife: Ruby Wilson, mother-of-children of Jeffrey & Michael Wilson: Eva Jean Howard, one brother: Pearl & three sisters: Ora, Susie & Lily He leaves the following relatives surviving: three sons: Henry Clay Wilson, Jr., of Mason, Indiana, Pete Wilson & Michael Wilson of Florence, KY. Also a host of grandchildren, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 20, 2011 @ 2:30 P.M. at the BeechFork United Methodist Church, Helton, KY. with Rev. Dan Griffiths officiating. The interment will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery at Helton, KY. Visitation will be on Saturday at the Church beginning at 1:30 P.M. until time of funeral.
