The Obituary for Marion Wells Officiating Minister: Rev. James Bowling, Jr. Mr. Marion Wells was born on June 9, 1941 at Smilax, Ky., the son of the late, Matt & Betty Jane Shepherd Wells. Marion and passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, Ky. at the age of 70 years, 3 months & 18 days. He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. Marion Wells was Preceded in Death by his Parents; 3 Brothers: Bethel, Willie & Lillie Wells & 2 Sisters: Mavie Kilburn & Susie Johnson. He leaves the following relatives surviving: 4 Brothers: Elzie Wells & Virginia of Stinnett, KY., Harold Wells & Wilma of London, KY., Elvin Wells & Anna Marie of Texas & Burley Wells & Freda of Wooton, KY. & 1 Sister: Martha Amburgery of Virginia. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Bowling, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Cemtery at Hyden, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29th at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel.
