The Obituary of Ms. Carol Hoskins Officiating Ministers: Rev. Eugene "Friday" Roberts, Rev. Robert Dean Bray and Rev. Tim Finley Ms. Carol Hoskins was born on September 18, 1932 in Asher, KY. and departed this life on Sunday ~ January 15, 2012 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. She was 79 years of age at the time of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Calloway Hoskins & the late Bertha Pennington Hoskins. By occupation Carol was a Retired Elementary School Teacher in the Leslie Co. School System, having taught for 40 years. Carol was a lifelong resident of Leslie County ~ Asher, KY. with the exception of living in London, KY. for the past 3 months. She enjoyed reading her Bible, genealogy, gardening and flowers and especially spending time with her family. Carol was a loving & devoted Mother & Grandmother. She was a Graduate of Cumberland College and obtained her Master's Degree and Rank 1 from Eastern Kentucky University. Carol was a Member of the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church in Asher, KY. She was Preceded in Death by her Parents: Calloway & Bertha Pennington Hoskins; Son: Bernard; Sisters: Ethel, Nell, & Jean; Brothers: Glenn, Virgil, Bernard, Bruce, & Vernon. Ms. Carol Hoskins leaves the following relatives surviving: Daughters: Terry Barrett of London, KY. and Melinda Hoskins of Asher, KY.; Brother: Denver Hoskins & Jean of Crossville, TN.; Granddaughters: Nikita Lynette Hoskins and Caroline Deshay Hoskins; Grandsons: Bryan Barrett, Brandon Barrett and Chanceler Hoskins; Great Granddaughter: Avery Shay Roark. Funeral services for Ms. Carol Hoskins will be conducted on Wednesday ~ January 18, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church in Asher, KY. with Rev. Eugene "Friday" Roberts, Rev. Robert Dean Bray and Rev. Tim Finley officiating. Burial will follow in the Calloway Hoskins Family Cemetery in Army Trial Road ~ Bad Creek, Asher, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Bryan Barrett, Brandon Barrett, David Wilson, Chris Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Denny Hoskins, Gary Hoskins, David Hoskins, Ralph Barrett, Phillip Hubbard David Hoskins, Ralph Barrett, Phillip Hubbard, Cody Dewees and Tyronne Hubbard.
