The Obituary of Mr. Bige Cleo "Shorty" Stevens Mr. Bige Cleo "Shorty" Stevens was born on March 29, 1952 and departed this life on October 28, 2011 at his residence at 47 Stratton Fork Road, Viper, Ky. He was 59 years of age at the time of his passing. Bige Cleo "Shorty" Stevens was born at Hyden, Ky., the son of the late Herbert C. Stevens & Martha J. Turner. He was a building contractor & had been a resident of Michigan for most of his adult life. Bige Cleo "Shorty" Stevens had been a resident of Viper, Ky., for the past two years. He was a member of the Jeff Missionary Baptist Church, Jeff, Ky., and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Bige Cleo " Shorty" Stevens was preceded in death by his parents: Herbert C. Stevens & Martha J. Turner, one son; Michael Ray Stevens, one brother: James Ray Stevens. Mr. Bige Cleo " Shorty" Stevens leaves the following relatives surviving: wife: Nancy Haney Stevens, two sisters: Annie Jean Day and husband, Paul of Viper, Ky., Sadie Jane Morlock of Michigan, seven treasured nieces: Allison, Polly, Jessica, Rebecca, Tonya, Donna, Tabitha, three treasured nephews: Robert, Harry, & Ray, along with a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M - Sunday - October 30, 2011 at the Jeff Missionary Baptist Church, Jeff, Ky., with Rev. Steven Haddix officiating.
