Burchell Nolan Florence Napier was born on November 4, 1925 in Warbranch, KY. and departed this life on Friday ~ July 22, 2011 at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital ~ Hyden, KY. at the age of 85 years. Florence was the Daughter of the late Joe Napier and the late Rosie Sparks Napier. She was residing at 236 Coyote Lane ~ Warbranch, KY. at the time of her passing. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was affiliated with the Holiness Church. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Joe & Rosie Napier; Brothers: McKinnley Napier and Adron Napier. Florence Napier leaves the following relatives surviving: Brothers: John Henry Napier of Corbin, KY. and Floyd Napier & Lola of London, KY.; Sisters: Nancy Brock of Warbranch, KY., Elizabeth "Bess" Taylor of London, KY. and Virgie Holland of Asher, KY. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Florence Napier will be conducted on Sunday ~ July 24, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the New Hope Community Church ~ Warbranch, KY. with Rev. Denver Brock, Rev. Vernon Wilson and Brother Burchell Nolan officiating. Burial will follow in the Rye Cove Cemetery ~ Warbranch, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Jonathan Caldwell, Christopher Caldwell, Benjamin Nantz, Robert Mosley, Billy Mac Napier, Daniel Nantz. & honorary pallbearer: Neil Brock. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Neal Brock. Visitation will begin on Saturday ~ July 23, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church.
