The obituary of Mr. Alvin Begley Officiating Minister: Golia Clay Begley & Ralph Brown Mr. Alvin Begley was born on December 24, 1947 and departed this life on July 14, 2009 at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 20 days old. He was born in Leslie County, Kentucky the son of the late Clay Begley and the late Alice Mollett Begley. By occupation Alvin was a employee of the T.D.S. Telecom Phone Company and had been working for them for 37 years. He enjoyed knife making, gardening and especially spending time being with his family. Alvin was a member of the Victory Mountain Grace Brethren Chapel at Hyden, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren: Logan Jacob Begley and Austin Muncy, and also a son-in-law: Ricky Muncy. He leaves surviving the following relatives: wife: Mary Ubel Begley of Hyden, KY; two sons: Chad Begley & Dawn of Cincinnati, OH, Cliff Begley & Catherine of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters: Brenda Muncy of Hyden, KY, and Judy Spencer & Edward of Peru, IN; four brothers: Dean Begley of Cincinnati, OH, O.B. Begley of Hyden, KY, Ayers Begley of Hyden, KY and Golia Begley of Tahelequah, Ok; three sisters: Leva Pennington of Smyrna, TN, Elspeth Barry of Tulsa, OK, and Joan Begley of Cincinnati, OH. Alvin also leaves surviving 12 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Alvin Begley will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday - July 17, 2009 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Golia Clay Begley officiating. Graveside Service & Interment will be held on Saturday - July 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt.Moriah Cemetery located at Cincinnati, OH.
