Paula Jane Napier

The obituary of Paula Jane "Polly" Napier Officiating Ministers: Ronnie Melton, Troy Saylor, and Marlin Hubbard. Mrs. Paula Jane Napier was born on February 10, 1969 and departed this life on January 12, 2009 at the age of 39 years, 11 months, and 2 days. She was a life-long resident of Leslie County at the time of her death. She was the daughter of Willard Saylor and the late Mable Saylor. By occupation, she was a homemaker. Some of her hobbies included coaching, she enjoyed working with children, and having fun with her friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, and one sister: Pauline. She leaves surviving the following relatives: her father; husband: Elmer Glen Napier of Helton, KY; two sons: Glen Willard Wayne Napier & Crystal Caldwell of Helton, KY and Wiley Dean Collett of Helton, KY; one daughter: Marlene Nichole Collett of Helton, KY; two brothers: Willard Saylor, Jr. of Bledsoe, KY and Gary Wayne Saylor of Helton, KY; five sisters: Deanna Howard of Pineville, Joanne Brock of Mozelle, Cindy Sue Saylor of Helton, Shanna Nicole Caldwell of Bledsoe, and Sherry Nantz of Harlan. A host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Napier will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Upper Beech Fork United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the church. Burial will take place directly following the service at the Napier Cemetery in Helton, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home staff. The following will serve as pallbearers: Rudy Spurlock, Thomas Miller, Carl Wells, Shelby Howard, Gene Howard, Tyronne Caldwell, & Jacob Napier.
