The Obituary for Mr. Conley Hensley Officiating Ministers: Rev. James Bowling, Jr., Rev. Roscoe Roark and Rev. Chuck Jack Mr. Conley Hensley was born on August 7, 1930 and departed this life on June 8, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was 79 years of age at the time of his passing. He was the son of the late Tim Hensley and the late Fannie Griffith Hensley. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was a farmer for his family by occupation. He was a member of the Lower Jacks Creek United Methodist Church at Roark, KY. He enjoyed gun collecting, knives, playing the guitar, watching t.v. & movies, outdoor work and ATV riding. He was preceded in death by his parents and a host of brothers & sisters. He leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Alice Hall Hensley of Roark, KY.; step son: Willard Caldwell & Christine of Tazewell, TN.; step daughters: Shirlene Knuckles & Ray of New Tazewell, TN. and Betty Roark & Charles of Barbourville, KY.; brother: Walter Hensley & Doshie of Roark, KY.; eight step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Conley Hensley will be conducted on Saturday - June 12, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lower Jacks Creek United Methodist Church at Roark, KY. with Rev. James Bowling Jr., Rev. Roscoe Roark and Rev. Chuck Jack officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Oakley Cave Cemetery at Roark, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Willard Caldwell, William Roark, Tim Roark, David Roark, Waldo Hensley and Charles Roark. Visitation will be conducted on Friday - June 11, 2010 beginning at 12:00 Noon at the church until time of funeral Saturday.
