The Obituary for Mrs. Nora Morgan Officiating Ministers: Keith Bowling & Cecil Eugene Morgan Mrs. Nora Morgan was born on November 2, 1925 at Hoskinston, KY. and departed this life on March 8, 2011 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington ,KY. She was 85 years of age at the time of her passing. She was the daughter of the late James "Jim" Morgan and the late Mary Howard Morgan. By occupation Nora was a retired elementary school teacher of 43 years, having last taught at Stinnett Elementary School. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County. She was a member of the Hyden Baptist Church. She was also a member of the KY Retired Teachers Association and enjoyed gardening, flowers and watching game shows. She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband: Fred Morgan; Brothers: Arthur, Corbett, Felix and Fred; Sister: Ethel. Mrs. Nora Morgan leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Danny Ray Morgan & Frances Elaine of Hoskinston, KY.; Daughter: Mary Katherine Morgan of Hoskinston, KY.; Sister: Essie Morgan of Hoskinston, KY.; Grandchildren: Karen Michelle and Charlene Elaine; Great-Grandchildren: Cierra Rhae Couch, Alexis Paige Morgan, Bobby Cordale Roberts and Shaylen Elaine Roberts. Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Morgan will be conducted on Saturday - March 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Church of Christ at Hoskinston, KY. with Keith Bowling and Cecil Eugene Morgan officiating. Burial will follow the funeral services at the Morgan Family Cemetery at Hoskinston, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Jack Morgan, J.B. Morgan, Kenny Lewis, Johnny Collins, Coy Duff, Eddie Boone Pace and Joe Collins. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Johnny Pace, James Saylor and Dwayne Coy.
