He was 69 years of age at the time of his passing. Troy was the son of the late Dewey Barger and the late Bertie Barger. By occupation Troy was an electric linesman. Troy had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 11 years spending his former years in Indiana. He was preceded in death by his: Parents; Son: Shawn Barger; Mother of Children: Roberta Barger; Mother of Children: Marie Barger; Special Friend: Janice Elam; Brother: Cecil. Mr. Troy Barger leaves the following relatives surviving: Sons: Tim Barger of Scottsburg, IN. and Chris Barger of Orlando, FL.; Brothers: Taylor Barger, Dudley Barger and Finley Barger all of Austin, IN. and also Asher Barger of Scottsburg, IN.; Sisters: Bonnie Roy of Scottsburg, IN., Audrey Bush of Austin, IN., Wanda Alberston of Scottsburg, IN. and Jean Franklin of Scottsburg, IN.; Grandchildren: Zach, Ryan and Amanda Barger. Funeral services for Mr. Troy Barger will be conducted on Wednesday - May 4, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Morris officiating.
