Jerry Holland Anna Maria Amos was born on November 17, 1968 In Chicago, Il., to Laverne Morgan Amos & the late, Claude Amos. She passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at her residence in Hyden, Ky. at the age of 42 years, 9 months & 17 days. Anna was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She enjoyed traveling & going to the ocean. Anna Maria Amos was preceded in death by her father, one sister: Sarah, Maternal grandparents: Johnie & Sarah Morgan & Paternal grandparents: Clayton & Lola Amos She leaves the following relatives surviving: mother: Laverne Amos of Hyden, KY., husband: Stevie Johnson of Hyden, Ky. 2 daughters: Sarah Brooke Morgan of Hyden, KY. & Hannah Wooton of Hyden, KY. 1 step-son: Dustin Johnson, also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & other relatives & friends survive. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the Upper Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church at Essie, Ky., with Rev. John Pugh, Rev. James Bowling, Jr. & Rev. Jerry Holland officiating. The interment will follow in the Albert Morgan Cemetery at Essie, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Richard Morgan, Randy Whitehead, Gene Wooton, Alex Morgan, Dustin Morgan & Shannon Wilder.
