He was born at Hazard, Ky., the son of Maude Combs Maggard & the late, Odean Maggard. Freddie was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by occupation he was a retired coal miner. Freddie was affliated with the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, Ky., he enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting & gardening. Freddie Wayne Maggard was preceded in death by his father, 2 brothers: Larry Odean & Jimmy Darrell Maggard He leaves the following relatives surviving: Mother, Maude Maggard of Smilax, Ky., 3 sons: Arnold Wayne Maggard of Keavy, Ky., Freddie Dean Maggard of Keavy, Ky. & Rodney Wayne Maggard of Louisville, Ky., 1 daughter: Tracy Lynn Maggard of Indiana, 4 brothers: Danny Maggard & Frances of Stinnett, Ky., Jerry Maggard & Gina of Louisville, Ky., Gary Maggard & Sherry of Stinnett, Ky. & Terry Maggard of Hyden, Ky., 2 sisters: Loretta Hughes & Jay of Hazard, Ky. & Brenda Maggard of London, KY. & 1 grandchild also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins survive. Funeral service for Freddie Wayne Maggard will be conducted on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY. with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery at (Levis Branch), Smilax, Ky. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the church 6:00-9:00 P.M.walkerfuneralhomesllc.com
