He was born on January 30, 1980 in Hyden, KY. and was the Son of Walter David Bowling and Sarah Collett Bowling. By occupation David was employed by the Leslie County Detention Center. He was affiliated with the Church of God and had been a lifelong resident of Leslie County. David enjoyed fishing, music, playing guitar, computers, video games and basketball. He was Preceded in Death by his: Paternal Grandfather: Dill Bowling; Maternal Grandparents: Henry & Rosie Collett; Great-Grandparents: John & Nancy Bowling, Nora Hoskins Collett, Kelly Morgan, Lloyd & Polly Roark. He leaves surviving the following relatives: Father: Walter David Bowling & Fianc Melissa Sizemore of Asher, KY.; Mother: Sarah Collett Bowling & Fianc Earl Anderson of Hyden, KY.; Paternal Grandmother: Faye Bowling of Asher, KY.; Daughter: Danielle Paige Bowling of Asher, KY.; Brother: Charles Eric Bowling & Carmen of Louisville, KY.; Aunts & Uncles: Mitchell Dean Bowling, Karen Sue Sizemore & Chuck, Evelyn Hoskins & Freddie, Clara Bauer & Bill, Eugene Collett & Gloria, Raymond Collett & Carmen, Mary Reyes & Ruben, Tom Collett and Maynard Collett; 4 Nieces & 1 Nephew. David is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Walter David Bowling, Jr. will be held at 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday - March 26, 2013 at the Middlefork Pentecostal Church at Asher, KY. with Rev. Eugene Roberts and Pastor Wayne Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling-Mosley Cemetery at Asher, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Chuck Bowling, Jonathan Bowling, Tyler Bowling, Jacob Bowling, Chuck Sizemore, Mickey Bowling and Earl Anderson. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 P.M.
