Andrew Farmer Mrs. Carolyn Morgan born November 29, 1935 departed this life on Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, Ky at the age of 74 years, 5 months & 25 days. She was born at Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late Elhanon & Maude Bowling Roark . Carolyn was raised by the late Hiram and Molly Bowling. By occupation she was a homemaker and former Employee of the Mary Breckinridge Hospital. She was a member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church where she was a very faithful in attending church services. She enjoyed cooking & sewing. Carolyn was preceded in death by her biological parents: Elhanon and Maude Bowling Roark, her parents that raised her: Hiram and Molly Bowling, Husband: Dave Morgan, one daughter: Alma Roberts, two brothers: Charlie Hyden and Stanley Roark, two sisters: Viola Thomas and Mossie Ann Baker. She leaves surviving the following relatives: five sons: Billy Richard Morgan & Vanessa of Hyden, KY, Charles David Morgan of Hyden, KY, Twins Sons: Eddie Morgan & Daisy of Hyden, Ky and Freddie Morgan & Diana of Manchester, KY. & Shawn Morgan & Kendall of Hyden, Ky.,two daughters: Gracie Sparks & Johnny of Hyden, Ky, Mary Morgan & Joe of Hoskinston,KY. fifteen grandchildren: Zuba Lynn, Billie Leigh, Sidney, Brittany, Jody, Barbara, Shane, John, Felicia, Marlena, Amanda, Bige, Melinda, Molly Carol and Jo Anna. Carolyn is also survived by a host great grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Morgan will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. - Thursday , May 27, 2010 at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church at Hyden, KY with Rev. Teddy Couch and Rev. Andrew Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery at Hyden, KY. Friends may call for visitation at 5:00 p.m.-Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the church.
