Avery passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. at the age of 76 years, 9 months & 8 days. He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by occupation He was a retired coal truck driver. His hobbies included fox hunting, 4-wheeling, cook-outs & spending time with his family. Paul Avery Jones was preceded in death by his parents, George & Mary Napier Jones, 2 great-grandchildren, Jakob & Kaleb, 1 sister, Betty Jones Gilbert & her husband, Jim & 1 brother, Glenn Jones. He leaves the following relatives surviving, His beloved wife & friend of 55 years, Anna Lee Osborne Jones of Bear Branch, KY., 5 sons, Kenneth Jones & Annette of Bear Branch, KY., Terry Jones & Donna Kay of Bear Branch, KY., Elden(Elmo) Jones & Carolyn of Bear Branch, KY., Ricky Jones of Bear Branch, KY. & Larry Stephen Jones & Edith of East Bernstadt, KY., 1 daughter, Mattie Jones Kelly & Mike of Tennessee, 1 brother, Larry Jones & Mary of Hyden, KY., 4 sisters, Veronica Deaton & Loren of Hyden, KY., Vernia Morgan of Ohio, Katherine Jones of Ohio & Lois Rich & Oval of Ohio, 9 grandchildren, Terry Dean, Brandon & Angela, Christopher & Mandy, Jessica & Shawn, Hope & TJ, Tabatha & Dougie, Anndrea & John, Breanna & Katelynn, 6 step-grandchildren, Jaymie, Carla, Angela, James, Rebecca, Jessa & Taylor, 9 great-grandchildren, Connor, Haley, Cameron, Madison, Jaxon, Paisley, Raegan, Keilah & Serenity, 12 step-great-grandchildren, Austin, Tara, Jaylin, Hunter, Amber, Madisyn, J.T., Waylon, Jace, Ally, Gavin & Maggie, special friends, Richard Muncy & Ronnie Sizemore, also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hal's Fork Pentecostal Church at Bear Branch, KY., with Rev. Jerry Holland & Rev. Teddy Couch officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery at 11 Forgotten Rd. Bear Branch, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers, Terry Dean, Brandon, Christopher, TJ, Richard, Ronnie, Taylor & Eddie. Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. until time of funeral service on Saturday at the Church.
