The Obituary for Joe Carlos Lawson Officiating Minister: Rev. Roger Wolfe Mr. Joe Carlos Lawson was born on January 1, 1945 in Hyden, Ky. and passed away on December 1, 2011. He was the son of the late Chester Arthur & Vera Singleton Lawson. Joe had been a resident of New Castle, Indiana for the past 25 years. Joe was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was affiliated with the Rockhouse Baptist Church. He was a member of the DAV, he enjoyed watching T.V. Joe Carlos Lawson was preceded in death by his Parents, & one Brother: Arthur Lawson. He leaves the following relatives surviving: one Sister: Shirley Decker & Donnie of New Castle, Indiana; one Sister-In-Law: Francis Lawson of Hyden, KY.; two Nieces: Traci Decker and Jennifer Marcum & Brad; six Nephews: Dylan Clark, Lawrence Lawson & Lisa, Michael Lawson, Aydan Petty, Keith Lawson and Austin Lawson. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday ~ December 5, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY. with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Steele Cemetery at Hyden, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Brad Marcum, Dylan Clark, Austin Lawson, Keith Lawson, Lawrence Lawson, Michael Lawson, Ryan Jones and Aydan Petty.
