He was the Son of David Wayne Napier, Sr. and Polly Marie Johnson Napier and the Husband of Johnah Carol Perry Napier. David was a lifelong resident of Leslie County was affiliated with the Sheep Shelter Holiness Church ~ Essie, KY. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, being outdoors and caring for his pet squirrel, Scamper. His smile brought joy to everyone. He was truly a joy to be around. He was Preceded in Death by: Grandfather: Bill Johnson; Great Grandparents: Bert & Jettie Howard, Farmer & Orpha Bailey Napier, Theo & Jane Muncy Johnson and Barlow & Mae Causey Feltner; Uncle: Phillip Bert Napier; Nephews: Austin William Napier, Brady Wayne Couch and Freddy Wayne Noah Napier. Funeral services for Mr. David Wayne "Bub" Napier, Jr. will be conducted on Thursday ~ Dec. 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sheep Shelter Holiness Church at Essie, KY. with Rev. Ron Hensley, Rev. Ted Brock and Doug Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Austin W. Napier Family Cemetery in Essie, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Daniel Napier, Willie Napier, Jr., Dana Hill, Billy Wayne Napier, Manford Daniel Roark, David Dean Johnson, Justin Gross, Jeffrey Gross, Jr., Zackariah Gross and Walter Glen Napier.
