The Obituary of Mr. Denver Gibson Officiating Minister: Jerry Rice Mr. Denver Gibson was born on July 26, 1941 at Combs, KY. and departed this life on January 14, 2011 at his residence at 299 Red William Napier Rd. - Hyden, KY. He was 69 years of age at the time of his passing. Denver was the son of the late John S. Gibson and the late Mabel Sims. By occupation he was a construction worker supervisor. He was a resident of Leslie County for the last 5 and a half years coming from Indiana. He enjoyed wood crafting and fishing and was affiliated with the Anna C. Brush Memorial United Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister: Imogene Beam. Denver leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Imogene Chandler Gibson of Hyden, KY.; Sons: Dean Woods & Brenda of Hyden, KY., Denver Dean Gibson of Arkansas and Jimmy Dean Gibson of Ohio; Step-Sons: Terry Sandlin of Hyden, KY., Tim Sandlin of Hyden, KY. and James Sandlin & Anna of Mississippi; Daughters: Patricia Ann Gibson of Radcliff, KY., Stacy Lynn Barber of Ohio and Connie Gibson of Austin, IN.; Brothers: Willie Gibson & Nancy of Salem, IN., David Gibson of Salem, IN. and Clyde Gibson of Hyden, KY.; Sisters: Betty Sandlin & Matt of Hyden, KY., Vicky Lee & Larry of Indiana and Thelma Snelling & David of Hyden, KY., special friends: Forrest Rice, Larry Sandlin & Louise Griffie. A host of treasured grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Denver Gibson will be conducted on Monday - January 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Rice officiating. Burial will follow the funeral services at the Sandlin Cemetery at Confluence, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Terry Sandlin, Larry Sandlin, Tim Sandlin, Dean Woods, P.J.
