The obituary of Mr. Clarence Jones Officiating Minister: Chris Sale Mr. Clarence Jones born April 28, 1941 departed this life on April 9, 2010 at the age of 68 years. He was born at Cinda, Kentucky the son of the late Arzie Jones and the late Rhodella Kilburn Jones. He was a retired coal miner and logger and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. Mr. Clarence Jones was affiliated with the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed playing and listening to music and was an avid musician of the banjo, fiddle, and guitar. Clarence also enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arzie and Rhodella Jones, two brothers: Jimmy and Eugene and one sister: Altie. He leaves surviving the following relatives: loving and devoted wife: Mary Belle Baker Jones of Wooton, KY, one daughter: Heather J. Norfleet & Chad of Lancaster, Ky, three brothers: Burgoyne Jones & Joyce of Corbin, KY, Carlos Jones & Joyce of Ohio, Lonnie Jones of Cinda, KY, four sisters: Evelyn Pennington & Jeff of Wooton, KY, Kathy Pennington of Cinda, KY Geraldine Jones & Raymond of Indiana, Betty Woootn of Cinda, KY, one grandson: Connor M. Norfleet. Clarence is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great neices, great nephews and other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Jones will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Sale officiating. Burial will follow in the Maggard Cemetery located on Coon Creek Road at Cinda, KY. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 12:00 noon, Monday- April 12, 2010 at the funeral home chapel.
