J.D.Hensley with Special Friends: Rod Ledford & Riley Ledford Mrs. Lunie Gibson was born on May 11, 1920 at Bear Branch, Ky., the daughter of late Henry Couch & Laura Wombles Couch. She passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at her residence at the age of 93 years, 1 month & 8 days. She was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She was affliated with the Bob Fork Holiness Church at Bear Branch, KY. She enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales & spending time with her family. Lunie Gibson was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Laura Wombles Couch, one daughter, Lolies , three sons, Harold, J.C. & Arnold "Shorty" & a host of brothers & sisters. She leaves the following relatives surviving, four sons, Alfred Gibson & Margaret of Clay Co., KY., Lannie Gibson of Bear Branch, KY., Jimmy Gibson & Linda of Hyden, KY. & Stanley Gibson & Imogene of Hazard, KY., three daughters, Geneva Sizemore & Estil "Nig" of Bear Branch, KY., Bessie Roberts & Randy of Stinnett,KY. & Effie Muncy & Levi of Bear Branch, KY., one brother, Wilk "Duke" Couch & Wilma of Bear Branch, KY., 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren & 8 great-great-grandchildren also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bob Fork Holiness Church at Bear Branch, KY., with Rev. Randy Woods, Rev. Jerry McKinley Holland, Rev. J.D. Hensley officiating also with Special Friends, Rod Ledford & Riley Ledford. Burial will follow in the Couch Fork Cemetery at Bear Branch, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers, Dwayne Roberts, Jim Muncy, Richard Muncy, David Matthew Whitehead, Alfred Gibson, Donald Hall, Ronnie Sizemore, Taylor Widner & Dennis Johnson.
