The Obituary of Mrs. Lucille Asher Officiating Ministers: Thomas Smith & John Newell Mrs. Lucille Asher was born on January 25, 1948 in Hyden, KY. and departed this life on June 4, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. She was 63 years of age and resided at Short Creek at the time of her passing. Lucille was preceded in death by her Parents: Woodrow & Lily Bentley; One Sister: Mollie Gertrude and was the Wife of the late Elihu C. Asher. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was a member of the Hyden Church of God. Lucille enjoyed cooking, cleaning, working in her garden but most of all spending time with her family. Lucille leaves the following relatives surviving: Daughters: Tina Asher Fields & Chris of Hyden, KY. and Rita Asher Wooton & Rick of Hyden, KY.; Sons: Elihu Asher, Jr. & Suzette, of Brooksville, FL., Philip Asher of Nicholasville, KY., Alan Asher & Karen of Versailles, KY. and Glenn Asher & Pam of Nicholasville, KY.; Brothers: Billy Ray Bentley & Trina of Hyden, KY., David Ronald Bentley & Lois of Goshen, OH. and Michael Richard Bentley of Hyden, KY.; Sisters: Helen Gay & Jaymont of Buckhorn, KY., Jenny Jackson & Sid of Hyden, KY., Sophie Combs of Hyden, KY. and Margaret Feltner & Onzie of Hyden, KY.; Grandchildren: Renee, Kelli, Jarred and Eli. Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Asher will be conducted on Wednesday " June 8, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Bowling and Thomas Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodrow Bentley Family Cemetery " Hyden, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Philip, Allen, Glenn, Jarred, Chris & Rick. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Eli & Michael. Visitation will be on Tuesday " June 7, 2011 beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home.
